AT&T has revealed that they will be rolling out the LG Encore in four days’ time, which would mean marking September 5th on your calendar if that’s the phone which you’ve been waiting for (highly unlikely). Well, just what does the LG Encore have that might persuade you to pick it over other handsets? How about a full 3-inch touchscreen display, dual band HSDPA/UMTS support, quad band GSM, a 3-megapixel camera with video recording capability, a microSD memory card slot and aGPS? As with many other AT&T smartphones, this one will also be accompanied by AT&T’s Social Net, Adress Book, and Navigator programs in order to have you well equipped right from the get go. No idea on its pricing though.
