Want to get a pooch that does not have to be walked or fed? Well, get the BlueWatchDog security dongle then, as this device which is nearly as thin as a credit card, can be stashed into something that you would not want to see go missing. Once done, just hook it up to your cellphone via Bluetooth and you’re good to go. Nothing will happen until you go beyond the preset distance between the device and your cellphone, with a maximum separation range of 30 meters. When that happens, an alarm on your handset will go off, letting you know that the protected item has already gone beyond the intended range. It won’t be some pansy alarm though, as the BlueWatchDog certainly has a bark worse than its bite with a 100db alarm. Strangely enough, the iPhone is not supported – leaving us to wonder whether you won’t mind forking out €69.99 for this puppy (pun not intended).
