BoomTomb subwoofer from Speakercraft offers underground subharmonics

Speakercraft, the name behind in-wall speakers, has plans to ensure your sound system will not only sound great, but look good as well. This weird-looking BoomTomb subwoofer will come with an integrated 250 watt amplifier which will be buried underground, leaving only the port exposed. It is meant to work in tandem with a pair of Ruckus speakers that will resemble that of rocks, and start shipping in Q4 this year for an unannounced price point. Burying your electronics doesn’t sound like a really smart idea, but who are we to argue with Speakercraft when they came up with the crazy idea of embedding speakers into the wall of your home?
