GCF Approves Of The HTC 7 Trophy

Windows Phone 7 (WP7) devices seem to be in the news a lot recently and next up we’ve got word that the Global Certification Forum has just approved of a mystery HTC device, the HTC 7 Trophy. OS details weren’t mentioned, but considering that it sports a “7″ in its name, the smart money would be that it’ll be a WP7 device. What we do know is that it’s a quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone as well as a dual-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 900/2100MHz, pointing towards Europe and Asia. There wasn’t any mention of a US release, but we’ll be keeping an eye on this phone to see what turns up.
