Getac Rugged Notebook Is Powered By Intel's Core i7 Processor

If you’re looking for an alternative rugged notebook to Panasonic’s Toughbook series, you might want to check out the Getac V200 convertible notebook, which should fit the bill. This notebook can be used in a -20 degrees Celsius environment, sports a full magnesium alloy casing, shock mounted 320GB hard drive, sealed I/O ports, and Getac’s exclusive 1200 NITs QuadraClear technology that allows users to easily read and operate their computer in direct sunlight. The new V200 should be available at the beginning of October and will include specifications such as:

  • 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-620LM processor

  • 320GB hard drive
  • Full-sized keyboard
  • Wi-Fi b/g/n
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • eSATA and USB ports
