Google had previously launched the Google Font API, making it easier for web developers to include web fonts on their pages, and now the search engine giant has announced that Google Docs will support web fonts using the Google Front API, and six new fonts have been announced, including Droid Serif, Droid Sans, Calibri, Cambria, Consolas, and Corsiva. Users are reminded to expect more new fonts over the next few months, and since Google Docs uses web fonts, you won’t be required to install a new font when you load your document, making things simpler.
