The HTC Desire over at the UK have received its Android 2.2 Froyo update from O2 only for a while before O2 decided to pull the plug on it. That’s because a handful of Desire owners reported that their smartphones had a brain-freeze after the update was installed, while others complained that select sites actually sent the browser crashing. This has caused O2 to suspend the roll out until they manage to get to what the errors are all about. Those who do not have any issues after updating, good for you. As for the rest who missed it, guess the waiting game continues.
