
Smartphone maker HTC will be battling the unending unending AMOLED shortage by switching display technology on the Droid Incredible, offered on Verizon Wireless, to Super LCD screen technology, otherwise referred to as SLCD. Because of the AMOLED screen shortages, shipments of the Droid Incredible has been delayed and sold out multiple times. The switch to SLCD should happen sometime this month according to a leaked screenshot from a Verizon Wireless system.
