We do admit that HTC’s Sense user interface is one of the prettier skins out there that make a stock operating system work much better, but we are pretty shocked to hear that HTC’s CEO Peter Chou revealing the fact that their fabled Sense UI will not appear on the initial batch of upcoming Windows Phone 7 devices. Of course, this does not mean that HTC has closed the door to Sense appearing on the WP7 platform, but it will take a fair amount of time for that to happen as HTC “feels out” WP7. Another reason could be because of Microsoft’s relatively strict design guidelines, where a licensing fee is charged while preventing vendors from performing extensive modifications. Makes Android a much more appealing platform, eh?
