Sports cars aren’t well known for their eco-credentials, and Nissan’s popular GT-R sports car probably isn’t Mother Nature’s favorite mode of transportation. Of course, things might change in the future as word is going around that Nissan doesn’t want this car to drop out of the company’s lineup due to high fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. With that in mind, that company is expected to confirm a revised version of the current GT-R with up to 530 horsepower before the end of the year, though an all-electric model has yet to be signed off. The next-generation sports car could possibly be using batteries and electric motors, though there hasn’t been any official confirmation of that just yet. Still, we can always hope.
