JVC has introduced its DLA-VS2100U D-ILA projector, making it the latest addition to JVC’s Visualization Series. The projector sports a new optical engine that uses three D-ILA imagers to produce a 1920 x 1080 native resolution picture that sports a 20,000:1 native contrast ratio. Other features of this projector include a 220W UHP lamp, 1000 ANSI Lumens brightness, two HDMI ports, a VGA input, and an anti-smear reduction mode to reduce image smearing during fast-motion scenes. The JVC DLA-VS2100U projector will be available in February 2011.
