LaCie has announced its latest USB 3.0 external hard drives, namely the portable LaCie Rikiki and the desktop LaCie Minimus. Both drives claim to provide the industry’s fastest transfer speeds at 5Gb/s thanks to the speed of USB 3.0 and will come encased in a sturdy brushed aluminum casing for that elegant look and improved heat dissipation. LaCie’s Software Suite is also included to ensure seamless setup and backup support for both Mac or PC and they also come bundled with 10GB of Wuala online storage. The Rikiki USB 3.0 500GB hard drive will be going for $99.99 while the LaCie Minimus 1TB will set you back $129.99, and both are already available online.
