Lenovo LePad Tablet Expected To Ship This Year

Most folks have already read about Lenovo’s LePad for some time now, and if the device intrigued you, the good news is that it’s finally expected to start shipping this December. The Android-powered LePad will initially be released in China by the end of the year, though there wasn’t any mention of when the 10.1-inch tablet will be arriving in the US. Another version should also be on its way, and will sport a hybrid form factor that will include a keyboard and laptop components. Specifications weren’t available, but speculation is that it’ll be an Intel-based machine powered by Windows instead of Android. Will Lenovo’s entry into the already-crowded tablet scene have a significant impact on the tablet market?
