LG will be holding a news conference on September 14th whre the company will introduce a couple of new Optimus smartphones that will be powered by Google’s Android operating system – which are the One and Chic. Apart from an exclusive and detailed look at both handsets, LG will also humor the press and invitees to a question-and-answer session with executives of the company. This news conference can be watched by ordinary folks without a pass since LG aims to broadcast the news conference on the Internet, and this might mean we no longer need to be at IFA or CES physically in the future when press conferences go live via video streaming. On the other hand, we’d rather be there to enjoy the pre-conference cocktail.
