Microsoft starts to ship Office for Mac 2011 to Apple

Those who are users of the Mac platform will be pleased to know that Microsoft has started to ship Office for Mac 2011 to Apple. So far, initial feedback from Microsoft’s usability and beta tests has been complimentary to say the least. The updated version of Office for Mac will feature a range of tweaks, including improvement in the way the applications will hook into other options such as Sharepoint and Outlook. The entire experience has become a whole lot more Mac-like, including duplicating Apple’s ‘ribbon’ effect for Apple users to feel more at home. We look forward to whether Amazon will honor their October 26th release date.
