Microsoft is preparing itself to roll out their best selling software suite in its latest iteration to Mac users this coming October 26th, in the form of Office for Mac 2011. Pre-orders are currently being taken at the moment over at Amazon, where the suite will comprise of the Home and Student Edition, Home and Business, and separate purchases of PowerPoint for Mac, Word for Mac and Excel for Mac – depending on your individual needs and budget. One of the newer features in Office for Mac 2011 would be a new “Full Screen” view that delivers a couple of perspectives optimized for writing with the other for reading. Performance improvements is also pretty high up there, so you should be able to notice an overall speed improvement with the launch of each application. For those who picked up Office 2008 for Mac between August 1, 2010 and November 30, 2010, you qualify for a free upgrade – what are you waiting for?
