Mitsubishi HC4000 high-definition home theater projector makes a splash at CEDIA

Mitsubishi has taken full advantage of CEDIA to release its HC4000 high-definition home theater projector, where it will bring a slew of high-performance features without compromising on its entry-level price. Relying on Texas Instruments’ latest 1080p DLP chip, the DarkChip 3 with BrilliantColor, the Mitsubishi HC4000 will feature 1300 lumens and deliver up to 750:1 ANSI contrast ratio, showing off widescreen 2.35:1 aspect ratio films via its anamorphic lens support. With an estimated 5000-hour lamp life in low conservation mode, the HC4000 is good value for your money if you’re looking for something that can last a long, long time. Other hardware specifications include a super low noise level rated at 25dBA in low mode, native digital HDMI input and an integrated 1.5x-zoom ratio lens and digital keystone correction. Expect the Mitsubishi HC4000 to sing to the tune of $1,495 when it hits the market. [Press Release]
