Motorola EX300 touchscreen handset powered by Qualcomm’s Brew OS

The Motorola EX300 is a new touchscreen handset that will run on Qualcomm’s Brew OS, and will be part of the entry-level cellphone party. Features are pretty cookie cutter including a 2.8-inch QVGA display, stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a 3.1-megapixel camera, a microSD memory card slot and tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity (900/1800/1900MHz) as well as 3G (900/2100 MHz) support. Strange that it has already made an appearance on Motorola’s official websites in Taiwan and Hong Kong, but can be pre-ordered in Russia online instead for around €175. Chances are the EX Series of handsets from Motorola could very well be Brew-powered phones since they are based on Qualcomm’s platform.
