MSI introduces GX660 and GX660R performance notebooks

MSI has a couple of performance notebooks for the mass market – we’re talking about the GX660 and G660R models that will look pretty similar on the outside, boasting a black case with orange highlights, while the 15.6-inch display is shared by both as well. Apart from that, other specifications include Dynaudio speakers and Mobility Radeon HD 5870 discrete graphics for portable gaming sessions. What separates the two, then? Well, the GX600 will be powered by a 2.4GHz Core i5 processor and 4GB RAM, while the GX600R is superior thanks to a 1.73GHz Core i7 quad-core processor, 6GB RAM, a 1080p display and a Blu-ray drive. The MSI GX660 and GX660R will retail for $1,450 and $1,750, respectively. Any takers? Hopefully the battery life will be able to hold out.
