
Panasonic has announced Netflix streaming for owners of its Internet-capable 2010 VIERA CAST-enabled VIERA HDTVs and Blu-ray players. Owners of these devices will be able to access streaming movies and TV episodes from Netflix, though a Netflix subscription service is needed, which starts at $9 per month. For 2010 VIERA CAST-enabled HDTVs, Panasonic has also introduced USB connectivity which enables the use of a wireless LAN adapter, a keyboard for more efficient site navigation and communication, and also USB storage support for AVCHD video and JPEG photo files.
