Nintendo DSi LL and DSi get Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary editions

There is nothing quite like celebrating the 25th birthday of an iconic video game character by introducing a special edition of two consolse – we’re talking about the Nintendo DSi and DSi LL, where you will be able to get either special edition consoles in Mario’s signature red shade alongside Mario graphics. Of course, this is going to throw a spanner in the works of those who have been patiently saving up for a Nintendo 3DS that ought to hit the market sometime next year, especially if you are an avid collector of console variants. The DSi LL will hit Japan this coming October 28th for $215 after conversion, while the DSi that boasts an adorable little Mario jumping over the camera, will also hit the market on the same day for a lesser $177.
