Nokia C6 makes a splash

Nokia’s latest C Series phone would be the Symbian^3-powered C6, where this relatively compact device (from its family) will come with an 8-megapixel camera albeit with a smaller 3.2-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display. Just like the Nokia E7, this model will also boast Nokia’s ClearBlack technology that is touted to deliver improved outdoor visibility, even under bright sunlight. Targeting the social networking crowd as well, this model will feature live feeds from your favorite social networks, turning up on your home screen. Capable of storing up to 32GB of data on its microSD memory card, this would also come in handy if you decide to capture HD video in 720p resolution. Shipping is expected to commence before the year is over, but the choice of colors might be a damper to some considering it comes in only silver or black shades. You won’t find the C6 to be too burdensome on your pockets though since it retails for €260 before taxes and subsidies. [Press Release]
