
The new Ocosmos OCS1 UMPC, which runs on Windows 7, will be utilizing Intel’s energy efficient Oak Trail Atom-based processor to power a 4.8-inch capacitive touchscreen. The compact UMPC will have a resolution of 1024 X 600, 32 GB SSD drive, WiFi b/g, GPS, USB 2.0 and USB Mini ports, dual cameras, microSD card expansion and HDMI output. Additionally, the integrated Intel GMA600 graphics chip in Oak Trail is said to be performing twice as fast as the GMA500 graphics of Intel’s Menlow platform.
The Ocosmos OCS1 UMPC will also employ a sliding QWERTY keyboard design with a 1.5 GHz single-core CPU.
