Pentax, which makes great high-end cameras at affordable prices, may have a successor to the aging K-7 DSLR by the name of the K-5, a semi-professional shooter with a rugged chassis. While still not a lot of information is known from the K-5, the camera’s body looks mostly identical to the K-7, though the jog dial seems to be taller on the K-5. From the leaked image, it seems that the weather-resistant lens may also be included in the camera kit as well for those who opt for the package. It’s also unclear of when Pentax intends on announcing the rumored K-5 as the company just announced the more budget consumer-friendly K-r DSLR.
