Philips has introduced its MCi900 and MCD900 hi-fi audio systems that will come with the SoundSphere Systems, delivering a tubthumping 100W RMS output. No Blu-ray playback here, but at least it handles DVD as well as CDs for those who are old school. The MCi900 will rely on Streamium technology to access digital music from USB hard drives, where it has its own 160GB hard drive to make sure you won’t run out of tunes during your party. WIth Wi-Fi connectivity built-in, you can also enjoy Internet radio as well as wireless audio streaming within the comforts of your home. Gotta love the way the SoundSpheres peek out, looking like a couple of alien eyes.
