QUO Computer's latest maxQ2 (square) custom computer takes no prisoners

QUO Computer has just announced its latest maxQ2 (squared) custom computer which was specially developed by Apple enthusiasts who are extremely well versed with Mac OS X. It is interesting to note that QUO Computer’s maxQ2 (squared)can run not only on Mac OS X, but Linux and Windows 7 natively as well. Powered by Intel’s Core i7 processor, it carries enough processing muscle to handle just about anything you throw at it – assuming you are not working on the latest 3D computer generated animation movie for the masses. Other hardware specifications include 12GB RAM, a 240GB SSD (!), a 1TB hard drive and an NVIDIA 285 GTX. Such specifications deserve a liquid cooling solution, and that’s what the maxQ2 (squared) comes with. It will retail for $3,765 upwards when September 15 rolls around. We’re stoked to see what kind of framerates one can achieve with such hardware. The 240GB SSD will surely make up a huge chunk of the final price tag, but we can forsee the drool that is currently dripping from your mouth as you wistfully imagine having this beast in front of you.
