Ricoh’s G700SE was busy making rounds at Photokina, and the updated version of the G700 is capable of accepting add-on modules such as the GP-1 GPS dongle and BR-1 bar code scanning module. The camera offers a dust- and water-resistant shell and other fancy features such as Wi-Fi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1. This rugged camera was designed for governments and enterprises, so it’s not too surprising to hear that you’ll have to pay about EUR799 ($1,070) to pick it up when it arrives in the first half of 2011.
