Rumor: Windows Phone 7 To Launch On Nov 8th?

It was previously reported that Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 (WP7) operating system would be launching on October 11th in NYC, but now another date has been mentioned. According to sources, Microsoft will be holding an event in NYC on said date, but it will be unrelated to WP7. The source also claims that the US launch date for WP7 will instead be November 8th. While Microsoft hasn’t given any official confirmation of the launch date, perhaps the recently leaked WP7 video ads might indicate that it’s also arriving real soon.
