SageTV HD Theater 300 starts to ship

SageTV has begun to ship their very own HD Theater 300 media player that is capable of streaming media files directly from the Internet or via a local network to a connected TV, and it is also capable of keeping up with full HD resolution videos as well. If your friend happens to drop by and pop in a USB flash drive to watch a movie, no problems there. The HD Theater 300 will support HDMI 1.3 and both Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD/MA audio output, featuring a remote control to keep couch potatoes happy. It will play nice with SageTV’s Media Center software that virtually enables any PC or Mac equipped with an HD tuner card to watch and record live TV – as long as there is enough memory within, of course. Expect to fork out $150 for the SageTV HD Theater 300.
