Samsung Fascinate Available Online From September 8th

As expected, Verizon has confirmed the release date and pricing of its Samsung Fascinate. The phone will be available online from September 8th, while retail stores will be getting the phone from September 9th. The pricing of the phone is similar to other Galaxy S variants, meaning it’ll set you back $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and bundled with a 2-year contract. The Fascinate will be running Android 2.1 when launched, but it should be bumped up to Android 2.2 Froyo later this year. The Samsung Fascinate’s specifications include:
