Samsung Intercept Is Virgin Mobile's First Android Phone

Virgin Mobile users looking to get hold of an Android-powered device should be happy to hear that the carrier’s Facebook page has announced that it will be offering the Samsung Intercept soon, though an actual release date or pricing wasn’t mentioned. Specifications of the Samsung Intercept will include a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Android 2.1. The statement from the Facebook page reads:

“The question of an Android coming to Virgin Mobile has been a hot topic lately here on Facebook. Well, we’re happy to confirm that our next handset launch will be the Samsung Intercept. Check out the photo below, get excited, & stay tuned over the next few weeks for more information!”
