Sanyo to ship eneloop XX battery soon

Sanyo’s eneloop batteries are extremely famous for being the first rechargeables in the world that last for many charge cycles, have low discharge rates and can be used right out of their blister pack. Well, the eneloop range has just grown up with the eneloop XX battery ready to ship in due time. In fact, the AA eneloop XX battery is now a a 2500mAh cell which delivers 25% more juice compared to its predecessors, boasting a black and silver logo behind to differentiate it from regular eneloops. No idea on pricing, but these specially designed batteries are tipped to ship in Europe from December onwards. We don’t expect them to come cheap, either. [Press Release]
