Forget about purchasing air filters for your home when you can let your wallpaper clean your air on your behalf. Yup, you heard us right – such a wallpaper already exists, thanks to German company Blucher Technologies who developed the Saratech Permasorb Wallpaper that relies on thousands of tiny spherical absorbers to clean the air around it. Each absorber will come with thousands of branching passages which will mimic the interior of lungs, where it will go ahead to absorb and store pollutants. All you need to do is place the paper and let it get to work. We do wonder up to what degree of pollutants it can clean though. Hopefully we will have word on pricing or availability in due time.
