Solar-powered watches aren’t a technological breakthrough as we’ve seen similar products before, but the Sol Watch hides its solar cell cleverly in the watch strap, as opposed to the watch face like most solar watches out there. The tiny solar panel claims to be able to extend the watch’s battery life by an additional 50 percent, and the band and case are made from polyurethane, making them water resistant. That being said, it might seem a tad expensive to most folks at $100.
