Sony has just announced a new range of digital photo frames – we’re talking about the DPF-XR100, DPF-VR100 and DPF-D830 which not only display stills but does video playback as well. Another piece of good news – one of the models, the DPF-D830, comes have a built-in battery to keep it going whenever you fail to pay your utility bills. As for the DPF-XR100 and DPF-VR100, both of them will deliver AVCHD video playback capabilities over their high-resolution WSVGA LED backlight LCD screen, while the DPF-D830 as mentioned earlier, will be Sony’s first battery operated digital photo frame that makes it highly portable in your home. Of course, with just enough juice to keep it running for up to 100 minutes (photos only), you might want to start taking note of when it was last unplugged. Expect to see the new S-Frame DPF-XR100, DPF-VR100 and DPF-D830 digital photo frames arrive this November for around $250, $200 and $150, respectively. [Press Release]
