Owners of Sony’s NEX series cameras will be happy to hear that Sony is planning to launch seven interchangeable lenses from now till 2012. Currently there are only three lenses that are compatible with the camera’s E-mount and as such Sony will be releasing a wide-angle single focus lens, single focus macro lens, single focus portrait lens, and telephoto lens under the Carl Zeiss brand name in 2011, followed by a zoom lens, wide-angle zoom lens, and single focus mid-range lens under the “G Lens” label in 2012. Mock ups of these upcoming lenses were already exhibited during Photokina 2010.
