Sprint introduces Sanyo Innuendo

Sprint has further expanded its phone offerings to include the Sanyo Innuendo, which is somewhat similar to the Incognito in terms of form factor thanks to its horizontal-flip, full-QWERTY keyboard. Not only that, the Innuendo comes with a concealed external dial pad which will glow through the handset’s luxurious mirrored finish, disappearing and getting out of the way conveniently whenever it is no tin use. The 2.8-inch internal display and 1.3-inch OLED external display will display relevant information as and when required, while its 3.2-megapixel camera just won’t cut it in this day and age, albeit it can handle data capture without batting a shutter, er, eyelid. Other hardware specifications are GPS navigation support, a proximity sensor and a microSD memory card slot. With such hardware, we’re not surprised to see it retail for $49.99 with a 2-year contract, but those who do not want to be tied down can fork out $249.99 for one. This is pretty entry-level, avoid this if you want something much, much more. [Press Release]
