T-Mobile Android Tablet On Its Way?

T-Mobile subscribers might have something juicy to look forward to this holiday season aside from the T-Mobile G2. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, word is going around that T-Mobile is planning to have an Android-powered tablet available before the Christmas holidays. It wasn’t specifically mentioned what the device could be, but there is speculation that it could be an offering from LG’s Optimus series of phones, or perhaps it could even be Samsung’s Galaxy Tab, which we already know is headed for T-Mobile.

Android Android is mobile operating system from Google. The software was originally built by a company called Android Inc, that was purchased by Google in 2005. From its modest debuts, Android has become a powerhouse that powers not only smartphones and tablet, but a host of other less high-profile devices and gadgets. Although Android is not a community-driven project, Google does release the source code as open-source under the Apache license.
