
The SD Association had previously approved of the new UHS-I standard for faster flash memory cards,and now Toshiba has announced a new line of SDHC UHS-I memory cards that are slated to begin shipping this November. The cards will offer read and write speeds of 95MB/s and 80MB/s respectively. They will be available in capacities of 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB, with the 32GB version slated to enter mass production this November, and the other sizes slated to enter mass production in December.
