Toshiba Qosmio X500 upgraded and refreshed

Toshiba has taken a look at their Qosmio X500 and decided it isn’t enough to sell it as it is. Well, the Japanese company took a swift look at NVIDIA’s new GeForce GTX 460M and decided to throw this 1.5GB graphics chip into the fray, delivering a much improved performance lift to complement the 18.4-inch display. Other new inclusions would be native DirectX 11 game support. A base price tag for a 460M-equipped Qosmio X500 will start from $1,300 upwards, although Toshiba yet to set the minimum specifications. Mark September 26 on your calendars since that is when the new Qosmio X500 will be available for pre-order.
