We previously caught wind of the upcoming Verizon Fivespot mobile hotspot and now the launch kit has been sighted arriving at retail stores, indicating that the device should be launching pretty soon. The Fivespot was originally expected to arrive around the end of August, but it’s obviously been delayed slightly. The Fivespot should be able to share a 3G connection with up to five devices (as its name implies) over Wi-Fi and will have international support for UMTS and HSPA networks, along with EVDO.
