
Verizon Wireless will be making available its prepaid 3G data packages to the masses from September 28th onwards, where they comprise of two plans – one for multimedia-capable handsets while the other will target not only multimedia handsets but smartphones as well. The first plan will cost $10 monthly with just 25MB of data use, while any overage will by pretty painful on your pockets at $0.20 per MB. As for the other plan, it is much more favorable for heavy data users despite its $30 monthly fee since the plan is supposedly ‘unlimited’ – but we await how Verizon describes that criteria.
