We’ve had a rumor of Windows Phone 7 arriving Stateside this coming November 8th, and if that is true, then our friends living across the Atlantic have it better. Why do we say so? Well, word on the street has it that Microsoft will be rolling out its latest mobile OS in Europe this coming October 21st, which would place it earlier than a US release. Needless to say, you can be sure that the operating system will have its fair share of smartphones readily available to hit the market in that part of the world when the time arrives, although it remains to be seen whether Windows Phone 7 will be able to compete against the more established Android and iOS platforms (now that’s an understatement).
