While the recently-announced Droid Pro wasn’t the Droid 2 Global that folks were thinking of, the device does exist somewhere in Verizon’s plan as folks have spotted the device appearing on Verizon’s site, confirming that it’s clocked at 1.2GHz and should be taking over the Droid 2 once it arrives. It’s been mentioned on the site that it will be powered by Android 2.2 from the get go, and a picture of the device was also seen on the site. Are you looking forward to the Droid 2 Global, or has the BlackBerry-esque Droid Pro already caught your heart?
