Heavy PDF users will welcome the launch of Acrobat X Pro, the tenth version of Adobe’s PDF creation and editing tool. The new version focuses on enhancements to improve productivity and collaboration, such as the introduction of a new Reading Mode and the ability to share files online at Acrobat.com. Users will also be able to convert Microsoft Office files to PDFs with a single click, not to mention convert PDF data to Microsoft Excel. Multistep tasks can be automated thanks to the introduction of an Action Wizard to improve workflows and share user automations with other users. Mac and Windows versions will both be available and are expected to ship within 30 days. If you’re planning to pick up a copy of this, expect to shell out $450.
