Amazon announces Kindle for Windows Phone 7

Old MacDonald had a farm, he spent his time reading there. And a Kindle here, Kindle there, Kindle here, there, everywhere! Perhaps not on the farm, but you can say that Amazon is certainly going all out to make sure their Kindle application finds a home on just about any platform. We’re talking about the Kindle for Windows Phone 7 which will roll out later this year, where it will boast features that customers love about in the rest of the Kindle apps, not to mention the inclusion of new features which have been built into a Kindle app for the first time. Among those features to debut would include personalized book recommendations on your Kindle app home screen, as well as the ability to send a book suggestion to a friend from any book in your library without having to leave the app. Similar to other Kindle apps, Kindle for Windows Phone 7 will provide customers with Buy Once, Read Everywhere, be it on the Kindle, Kindle 3G, Kindle DX, iPad, iPod touch, iPhone, Mac, PC, BlackBerry, Android-based devices and of course, Windows Phone 7-based devices in the coming months.
