Another DIY MacBook Tablet Surfaces

If you think that the iPad isn’t powerful enough for you, perhaps the full-blown Mac OS might be what you’re looking for. While Apple doesn’t offer a Mac in tablet form just yet, that hasn’t stopped folks from hacking together their own Mac OS tablets, and we’ve got another one here for you to see. Created by Enigma-penguin, this tablet looks prettier than many others as the display was not turned around like most hacks, rather a window was cut on what would have been the case behind the screen, and a touchscreen has since been transplanted into the tablet. The black USB cable from the side of the tablet is a connector for the touchscreen that will be integrated in the future. A magnetic sleep sensor has been included at the headphone jack portion, an on-screen keyboard and the ability to change the screen’s orientation from landscape to portrait make it closer to an iPad challenger.
