Apple is in the midst of seeking approval to sell the iPad in South Korea, and if everything goes according to plan, the popular tablet might even launch in November, pitting it against Samsung’s Galaxy Tab in its native country. A decision on the approval is expected within the next five days and there is the possibility of Apple partnering with the official Korean iPhone carrier, KT, in order to sell the device since Apple doesn’t have any official Korean stores. It wasn’t immediately clear if there will be versions that rely on subsidies to offer the tablet at a lower price point, but it would definitely be nice to have the option of purchasing the device at a discounted price.
