
Word is going around that the speculated Asus EP90 tablet is expected to launch in March 2011. The Taiwanese manufacturer is said to have ordered up to 300,000 Tegra 2 dual-core ARM-based chips to power the tablet which will be running Windows Embedded Compact 7, a version optimized for use on tablet devices. The tablet is expected to be aimed at the enterprise market and rumored specifications of the EP90 include:
- 8.9-inch 1024 x 600 pixel display
- HDMI port
- USB port(s)
- Bluetooth 2.1
- GPS
- Webcam
- 8GB, 16GB and 32GB storage capacities
- Up to 4 or 5 hours of battery life
