Bluetooth Module For Olympus MFT Cameras Hits The FCC

A rather intriguing device has surfaced at the FCC. The device appears to be a Bluetooth module for Olympus’ Micro Four Thirds cameras though it wasn’t clear what the device will be used for. It does seem to match the accessory port below the hot shoe on Olympus’ PEN series cameras, and maybe it’ll be used to add on features such as connecting to a geotagging GPS module or even file transfer. Hopefully Olympus will come clean and let us know what to expect from this device soon as we’re itching to find out.
